Trump is to blame for them being in DC. But our entire government and society is to blame for this blowback from American war profiteering. Placing blame on Trump alone would be a scapegoat for the crimes of our country. We can’t spend decades exporting violence and place sole blame on whoever is president at the time. When your entire foreign policy is exporting violence to the middle east for a lifetime; it will inevitably come back home.

If it was ICE I’d agree with you. But the national guard isn’t really doing anything on these deployments. Trump says “I AM DEPLOYING THE NATIONAL GUARD!!!” and so they go, they stand around for a bit, and then they go home.
Wtf are you talking about? They are carrying guns, they shot back. What they were doing was illegal, and it doesn’t justify murder but let’s not pretend these are morally upstanding people, walking around DC with guns loaded. They are there to instill fear.
