Putin’s leaked position at the start of this(read: take with truck of dubious salt) is that Russia had a potential armed forces pool of 25 million people.

As far as I understand that statement, until he burns through most of that, he likely won’t see himself as losing.

Have to admit its a smart play from the orks.

1. Rebase the western position to your previous position by convincing a narcissistic senile moron to adopt it.

2. Move your new position to complete takeover of Ukraine.

3. Agree to “compromise” on a new agreement that is considerably better for you than your original position.
