Surely they will increase their production? I can’t imagine being a DRAM manufacturer and not wanting to jump on the pricing boom. Even if they have to ramp down again in a year, the gains would be worth it.
As a side note, I do not know how long it takes to ramp up a DRAM factory. It may take a few years in which case we will have to ride out the storm as consumers.

That movement is for not buying anything from those companies for the next few days. It should be to not buy anything from them this holiday season or indefinitely. Support local businesses that keep money in your own community.
You still have he choice to not use the software that has those back doors. There are plenty of open source alternatives that prevent spying.

It means that apps that ask you to use Google Authenticator for 2FA can be used in Aegis instead. Most authenticator apps do support this same standard at this point.
