Alright, I got myself a blog in Portuguese on tumblr. And recently I’m getting more and more involved into privacy on the web.
I wanted to switch to Pixelfed or for Friendica since it doesn’t have a small text limit as mastodon and others, but the Portuguese instances are either for +18 users or dead.
I’m currently on iris.to, but is there another website I could use? I can’t selfhost stuff, I share a bedroom with my brother and we don’t have space for a computer.
I really like pleroma due to the higher character limit.
Im not sure about the 18+ thing, i dont see much adult content in my feed and what content does show up is almlst always tagged as nsfw and hidden by default. If you are just worried because of your own age id suggest embracing the time honored tradition of lying on the internet until you’re old enough.
Also, pleroma doesn’t have Portuguese instances.
Yeah, I did this sometimes, but I’m gonna put a drawing of my blog’s mascot there, and I guess people can guess I’m not an adult with these drawings.
