Republican lawmakers have unveiled a bill to authorize $901 billion in military spending for the next fiscal year. House Speaker Mike Johnson says the National Defense Authorization Act would “ensure our military forces remain the most lethal in the world.”

    I mean it doesn’t, they’re definitely going to try to start a war but no one is coming to Venezuelas defense in earnest. Our Navy would crush most attempts before they even went foot dry. All of South America could try to stop us but you’d just end up with guerilla warfare with a president who really really wants to nuke something.
