Protests have erupted in North Carolina after federal agents arrested 370 people in immigration raids. On Monday, Bishop William Barber and other religious leaders gathered in Charlotte to demand an end to ICE raids. “What you have is a conglomerate of policy violence, and it’s deadly,” says Barber, who is organizing protests against ICE and Medicaid cuts across the country.
“This is not just about Democrat and Republican and left versus right. This is literally about life versus death.”
…even though Republicans are unanimously in favor of the policies he’s complaining about, along with only the most right-leaning Democrats. But, sure…tell us again how it’s not about “left versus right.” No one on the left endorses this shit. It’s only coming from the right.
To be fair, he has to say that or idiot ass conservatives will get their fee-fees hurt. You have to do everything you can to take care of these fucking morons giant god damned baby bitch egos or they will lose their shit about being called out on anything at all while calling for other people’s deaths for the crime of existing “wrong.”
He probably is trying to speak to conservatives and feels the need to couch his language like this so they might maybe listen however unlikely that may be.
