Ahh the astroturf installation crew has arrived.

This is a distraction.
We should be concerned with Tucker Carlson and Candice Owens.

I really don’t understand why they would focus on elevating Vance. He’s never really been a part of their movement, and the base has always known this.
They’d be orders of magnitude pushing a Tucker Carlson/ Candice Owens ticket, which, as a leftist, should be your greatest fear. Tucker Carlson has been able to keep an outsider status with the arms length he’s always kept with the administrations once they are in office. Candice Owens has one of the most popular podcasts in the country. Both have extremely wide reach.
And most importantly, they’ve kept outsider status. And the US is still starving for change, and has been belligerently electing whomever represents that since 2008. Whoever gets to claim that mantle wins the election. And both Tucker Carlson and Candice Owens are far more capable political actors than Vance could ever be. Vance’s only role in the campaign was securing the Silicon Valley oligarch bag. It was the price of admission.

I mean I’m all for the guillotines coming out. I think we should have brought them out on January 7th 2021 and start taking serious making things right then.
But even a modest wealth tax (like every red cent after a billion becomes the states or off with your head).
Like no amount of money can mend a broken heart? What was destroyed isn’t something you can just throw money at to fix. There was a breach of trust between the smartest people in our society (NASA, NIH, etc…) and society itself, in the sense that the elected government is a reflection of society.

Many Americans may not realize this, but the actions of DOGE were effectively the destruction of their generational inheritance; decades and generations of taxpayer dollars to build an effective machine for doing the work of government.
That won’t be rebuilt in a month or a year or even a decade. Its multi-generational damage which has been done.

Under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) Article 92, service members are required to obey lawful orders. However, not all orders are lawful, and military law draws a clear distinction between orders that must be followed and those that must be refused.
An unlawful order is one that requires the commission of a criminal act or violates the Constitution, U.S. federal law, or applicable international law.
Examples of Unlawful Orders:
Targeting or intentionally harming civilians Torturing or abusing detainees Falsifying operational or legal records Engaging in unauthorized political or domestic law enforcement actions
